Latest Haul

Here are a few shots of our latest load.  Andy found this great old arrow sign.  Boy, he can sniff things out!

Great old blue bike.

I am loving this old 3 wheel bike.  I can just see pots of mums in the back for fall.

Cute little old green stove.

Wonderful grape concrete planters.

Metal # 1's

And this wonderful chandelier.  It needs a little love.  Can't decide to re-wire myself or just let someone else worry with it.  What would you do?    Soon......Susan

Biker Dude!

Colt was home recently for a little R & R.  He's been working in Lafayette, Indiana.  He works for a company that has purchased the first trucks in North America that have a lift high enough to work on wind turbans from the outside.  Before, all work has to be done from the inside (climbing all the way up).  They have had contracts in Oregon, Washington, California, Indiana, and Texas.  He's hoping for Australia and Europe too!  He just loves being up that high.  Mom and Dad don't like it that much but he's happy.  Anyway, he recently had his 1982 Harley Davidson Sturgis edition bike serviced and went for a joy ride.  Stopped by on his way home and I snapped a few photos.  This bike was originally my uncles.  He custom painted the designs and fixed it all up.  Nice ride - I don't want to ride though!

Lacy's Garden

We visited with our daughter Lacy and her family this weekend.  The girls were in the 4th of July Parade in Glenrose, TX and then later were in a small Little Sparkler Pageant.  They have worked really hard on their little garden.  It is sooo cute!
View from the back side.  The little shed is even decorated.  She works at a nursery and she rescues plants that are being discarded.  They all need a little love, and I think they are getting that.
It is all coming along very good.  The girls are having a great time picking veges.
Who can go on a trip without junking?!  As always, the pickup was full by the time we got home.  Actually it was full before we got to Glenrose!  I'll show you later....Soon....Susan
