Well, just as I committed to a booth in Comanche, TX at the Courthouse Square Mall, I had to spend a few nights in the hospital. Not fun! I'm feeling pretty good but my meds drag me down. I need all my energy for the next couple of months. Getting ready for Warrenton is hard work.
Back to the booth - Then my kids decided to move closer to home (We are loving it!) and now my big idea of running through Comanche to visit them didn't work out. Oh well! What ever works out the way you want it to. So my wonderful friend Glenda met me there and helped me get all set up. I tried to use the more fragile, frilly and girlie things so we wouldn't have to worry about them in the weather at Warrenton. And Fred won't have to put up with that Foo Foo stuff either! Here is a photo of before
Notice the great cast iron fixture hanging on the left side. My space is only 5 X 7. Starting small for now, maybe we can grow with time and sales.
If you see anything you are interested in please let me know. Of course my mannequins are not for sale. I can sell from my blog because I don't have to pay commission at the mall. That was a big plus for me.
I have designed some stationary and will have it for sale soon. I can't wait to see the proofs. It will be available on our website. I really need to update it and move some of these "fine antiques"! After all, that was the purpose for the website.
I apologize for not posting more often. I will try to do better!
